Question No Coffee to Cappuccino Addict

I never drank coffee and occasional cup of cappuccino. I have found that since I started induction. I have an uncontrollable urge to order Full fat Mocha Cappuccino with heavy whipped cream from Starbucks.

Has anyone ever have this happen?

Any help will be much appreciated.

Sarah

Ah...it's merely your "inner addict" grasping for carbs! Why they chose this particular item beats me!

But seriously, you may be restricting fat, so try upping your intake of Essential Fatty Acid's - "good fats" - in the form of flax seed or Essential Balance oil. Two or three tablespoons a day should do the trick.

Can't say that has happened to me. Unless of course you want to count my addiction to salted sunflower seeds. Before I started on Atkin's I never ate them. Now I think I go through a big bag a week.

The cravings we get are weird sometimes.....that is for sure.

Default Sunflower seeds

Hey, I've been eating *SPITZ* brand sunflower seeds lately, I blame my niece for getting me started during my vacation. This is another addictive food. I checked out the carb count & drastically cut back becoz the count is fairly high for a food that I'm not really conscious of eating, you know, just like chips, cheesies etc while watching TV. *Mindless* food is a huge trap for me. But I do love them.

Sign me,

Looking forward to my spinach salad lunch... Ruth

Default I know all about sunflowers seeds

Hi Ruth,

I too was hooked on the SPITZ sunflower seeds. I always ate them, even as I kid. I've switched to the unroasted, unsalted kind from the bulk store. Definitely not the same and I don't eat them as much. I wasn't too keen on all that salt either. Oh well, I chew gum - sugarfree of course.

Talking Cappacino Cravings

Thanks for the tips again Karen. I was really stressed at work today and bought another Mocha Decaf Cap full fat full cream. I just checked the tips and notice stress is a big trigger.

Now I am armed and more aware and will be more diligent.

Thanks bunches.
