Default diet tea

I have been thinking of starting to use diet tea (Super D's) - it sort of acts like a fat flush but in a tea bag form - has anyone ever used these while LCing - I used to drink it a long time ago and it certainly cleanses you. Any thoughts?

Default Not sure what tea it was........

But a few years back I saw a TV show about a diet tea and a young mother who died drinking it. On that show they talked about this tea and said that drinking more than just 2 cups a day could be extremely harmful. I think this young woman drank 5 cups. I just remember how sad it was because she was a beautiful young woman who was not all that overweight, but felt desparate to lose.

I don't know what that tea was. Maybe yours is safe. I'd try to find out if I were you and limit the number of cups you drink.

Maybe I'm just an alarmist, but I would hate to die over something so trivial as a cup of tea. All teas are diuretic. Just drink a nice herbal tea like cammomile. It will relax you and give you a feeling of having had a nice treat.

Atrsy - I used to drink it years ago, but only 1 cup per day, it becomes to hard on your system so I couldn't imagine drinking 5 cups. You're right, how sad that someone would go to that extreme. I think I'll give it a try and see how I do - the tea that I'm referring to is a chinese herbal tea. I love cammomile and drink it often, it is relaxing - Peppermint tea is good too, and helps if you have any bloating.

see if there is a list of ingredients and post them here. Someone will probably know about good and possible bad effects of each. You can also do your own research on the net by doing a search for each ingredient. Be sceptical.

I was actually thinking the same thing just to be on the safe side. I'll post the ingredients on Monday. Thanks.

No, it's Super D's Diet Tea, I suppose they are similar though.

I asked before about Diet Tea, whether it's a good idea or not and it was suggested to me to post the ingredients. Here they are: Active Ingredient: Sennoside A&B 10.5 mg. per bag - Blend of oriental herbs: locust plant, orange peel, licorice root, wymote, ginseng, papaya, honeysuckle, chrysanthemum, spices, natural flavours, cinnamon oil.

Does anyone know about these ingredients?
