Talking one week till i start....

hiya... my name is lindsay... and i have one week until i start the diet...
i'm a bit nervous, but the good responces i have seen here show that this program works if you really want it to and you don't cheat...
i was wondering if anyone has anyadvie for me for the induction stage of the plan? anything you may think will help me along? it would be really appreciated. thanks!

Quick advice to tape to your fridge:

1. Only eat the foods on the induction list
2. Stay away from sugar, artificial sweetners, fruit and sweet tasting things during induction, including soda pop
3. Stay away from nuts
4. Drink water, drink water, drink water, drink water.
5. Prepare yourself by having extra toilet tissue around the house
6. Prepare yourself to feel a bit crumby for a few days during induction. It's normal, and part of the detoxification process. It will pass.
7. Take a good multi vitamin, potasium, and a calcium magnesium mixture to avoid leg cramps
8. Congratulate yourself on making a healthy life choice
9. Stick to it even when things get rough. It will not be all good times. Getting through the rough times makes you a stronger and more knowlegable person.

10. HAVE FUN WITH YOUR FOOD.

thank you so much... i'm goiing to print your reply and post it to the fridge lol thanks... i'm a chef, so makiung the food taste good won't be a problem i dont think... thanks again... lindsay.

You're a chef? Wanna take a break from beautiful out west and come out east and cook for me for a while? I have the motivation, but I need to work on the taste thing *LOL*

You're lucky to have that culinary background! You'll be whipping up tastey and creative goodies right from the start.

I'm serious about the "have fun with your food" part. It's pretty easy to let things get boring. Then it's hard to eat right.
