Default TrainerDan, Questions here on Supplements

I have a couple of questions on different supp's that you can hopefully answer.

I bought some MethoxyFactor HP by EAS which sounds as if it supposed to make your muscle retain protein longer to help feed your muscles longer on certain amounts of protein. Have you heard of it or used it? The other name for it is Methoxyisoflavone.

The other supp I want to know about it called Clenbuter-X by VPX. I took it for a while but stopped till I get better feed back on it. It is a fat burner and man alive! It will make you sweat.

Also, I have one other fat burner that works off the thyroid called, T-2 Prothyroid formula by Biotest. It is claimed to be a hell of a fat burner by way of increasing thyroid activity.

My last question is have you tried any testosterone booster type supp's that you think have worked well?

I will be trying to get some regular old chalky creatine again but it makes me half ill to take it. I like the Phosphagen HP in orange but it is full of carbs so I cant take it except on weekends while on CKD.

Thanks for your time.

Aaron

Sorry it took so long to post ... life is busy these days ... basketball season is here!

Methoxy is a supplement that I am getting mixed reviews on. I tried MethoxyPro when it first came out, and the taste was foul ... so I can't really give personal advice on it. SOMe guys at the gym like it, but in my mind it is too expensive for the little bit of benefit you might get.

I think it is best to stick to what science shows works: creatine, glutamine, BCAA's, EFA's, and ECA stack. OF course, keep your protein intake high and frequent.

As for ClenButRx, it is a good fat burner. If I recall correctly, it was an oral liquid preparation, right? If it was, I remember it tasting like doo-doo. LOL.

The thyroid supplements all differ, it really depends on the active ingredient. Guggulsterones are good, take 30mg 3x per day.

As for test boosters, I try not to mess with the endrocrine system too much. Again, the word at the gym is that the 1-AD product is good.
