I got click happy, and subscribed to the same thread twice! Now I am getting doubles!! How can I cancel one of them? Thanks!

I get double notices from time to time as well for no good or consistent reason so you may not be double subscribed - I don't even know that double subscribing is possible.

But, if it is, then I would recommend unsubscribing from the thread - you might even try doing it more than once - and then resubscribing.

FWIW, I just tried to subscribe to this thread multiple times and it only shows up once in my list in my profile.

To unsubscribe from a thread, go to your profile and on the main page you will see the list of forums and the list of threads to which you are subscribed. You can unsubscribe from each of them individually.

When you receive an email notification saying that a thread that you have subscribed to has had a reply, there is also a link included in the notice that allows you to unsubscribe from the thread. Here is an example copied from one of these notices:

To unsubscribe from this thread, please visit this page:
http://forum.lowcarber.org/member2....ub&threadid=xxx

To unsubscribe from ALL threads, please visit this page:
http://forum.lowcarber.org/member2....&type=allthread


This is the quickest easiest way to unsubscribe.

Thanks! I checked my profile, the threads are only listed once each, but again today, I got 2 of each of them??? Maybe Someone is just wanting to make sure I catch on!!!

Rhonda, one of the options in your profile is:

Use 'Email Notification' by default?
Using this option emails you whenever someone replies to a thread that you have participated in.

You might check and see if you're got Yes checked. If so, that might be the cause. You'd get one email notification if you'd posted on the thread, and a second if you'd subscribed to the thread.

I can't think of another reason. Maybe tamarian will see this and can help.
