Default are all carbs equal?

lets say i eat a big banana that is equal to about 28 carbs., and there is a chocolate bar that has 28 carbs...would that be the same? or is the banana carb better...
I understand both are all high in carbs and should be avoided, but I'm just curious.

I'd vote for the banana. But you'd have a hard time fitting either into a typical low carb day.

I think that a lot of low carbers eventually move away from processed foods, especially junk foods.

I figured the banana would be the better choice...but if their effects are equal, I would go for the chocolate bar because I can stop at just one bar rather than eat a boring banana

I know low carbing is very strict but I'm allowing myself to eat a little more carbs than the average low carber because I'm 16 and figured that my body would burn it just a little faster..

Their effects are not equal. The chocolate bar will generate a significantly sharper and more intense blood glucose rise with a corresponding insulin reaction. Check out the glycemic index in your book. The banana will also at least have many other nutrients that are good for your body and will at least partially make up for the carbs you are inflicting your system with.
