Question Vacation snack ideas???

Hi everyone
I'm leaving in a few days for a sailing trip in the caribbean (I know, I know, tough life, right?). Well, I was wondering if anyone had any snack ideas for me to bring with me. I am going to the British Virgin Islands, and although I will have access to a grocery store, it will be a rather small (and I'm sure not well-stocked!) one. I am thinking of bringing along beek jerky and pork rinds, and I know we'll be cooking a lot of fish and meat dishes so that won't be a problem. I was just wondering what other snacks I could bring??? I was going to bring some Atkins low-carb bars, but after reading all of the posts about the hidden carbs, I am seriously rethinking that! Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks,
Lisa

String cheese is excellent! You could get some pepperoni, or make some jerky too! (Most of the store stuff has sugar.)

Protein powder or shake mix and an empty shaker? Get one that mixes easily with water since you won't have a blender.
