Cool Today is my birthday

Happy Birthday to Me!

I'm registered, I'm a low-carber and so far, so good. I went from SlimFast to E-Diets to WW to here. So far, this has been the most satisfying in that I'm not hungry and I eat what I want.

I'm 41 today, I'm taking off to go waste some money in the slot machines at Dover, DE and maybe (depending how much money I lose) stop at the outlets on the way back.

I have two kids, 21 and 17 and this is definitely the best time of my life, to date

I wanted to introduce myself, read and reply when I have something to say, though I can't promise it'll be profound and generally hang out here since I'm no longer a member of WW. I look for recipes and ideas and I love to cook.

I have a wonderful husband (#2) and have to say second time is the charm. He's great, spoils me, loves me, and I love him.

Okay, gotta hit the road and a great big hello to all!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY LISA

I hope that you have a great birthday. I also hope that the low carbing way of life is the way for you to go. There are many of us on this forum who have been living this way of life for some months/years now and we feel great.

Have a great day.

Welcome aboard and Happy Birthday?

Looks like you are doing very well overall so far. This WOE should be the last stop for you - and as you've probably already figured it has to be a permanent stop and a permanent WOL. Fortunately it is a very satisfying and enjoyable WOL.

Be sure to consider starting a journal here.

See you around and have a nice Birthday today.

Cool Thankeweveramuch

Thanks so much!
I went to Dover, and came out $100 ahead, which is way cool! Then I stopped at the Outlet Shops on the way back and bought a few odd and sundry kitchen items (cinnamon extract, hot paprika, etc.). And I logged on to AOL and had a $50 gift certificate from SuperCertificates.com from my BIL, so wahooooo!

Thanks again, I'm looking forward to reading and posting on this board.

Happy birthday, Lisa -- I'm glad you have a lucky day. Welcome!

I've tried SlimFast, Ediets and WW too!! I hope you do stick around -- I didn't quite get what you meant by "though I can't promise it'll be profound and generally hang out here since I'm no longer a member of WW." This should make it easier for you to hang out here

Think of these forums as an on line WW meeting that's available to you 24 hours a day. And is free

Good luck to you -- you've already lost a lot of weight. I hope this is enough of a motivation for you to keep going. Please do join in and let us know how you're doing.
