Its absolutely possible! For people who have a lot to lose they tend to see quite a drop in weight for the 1st week or 2 then often the scale wont move for awhile. In your case, because U dont have a lot to lose the scale will move slowly BUT U will be burning fat--hence the inches loss. So keep up the great work!

part of the explanation is that stomach puff can be not fat but fluid retention. This is a very diuretic way of eating (as long as you drink sufficient water). For people with chronic joint pain, it's also a godsend because the lowered bloat leaves them in much less pain!

Fairycute

i too, have noticed more in the line of measurements and clothes fitting better than actual lbs on the scale. at first i was disappointed, but then i thought, ya know if my clothes are fitting better, to heck with the scale something is going on and it is good. for the first time in years, i don't hate to look at myself in the mirror. I know, to some i may not have a lot to lose, but i am very short and i have what some all an "athletic" build, but now that i am not as "athletic" as i used to be my muscles are turning to fat and cellulite, or whatever, they aren't toned. i have noticed so many changes in how i feel. i don't get a slump time in my day, excpet when tom is around. i usually teach until 7pm b.f this woe i would dread my last clients lessons. now ihave the mental alertness to get through it, in fact enjoy it. my joints don't hurt, which they did from a previous knee injury, i think that is amazing. so the scale is moving slow, but the other benefits are awesome. i figure if i look at this as a way of life, not a diet, if it comes off slow, that is okay. i am sticking with it.

good luck.

jabs
