Default is it possible

to drink 1000 diet mountain dews on this thing? seems ive been in ketosis for a week and i stopped drinking coffee and started with these and has no effect on this. I know they are filled with caffeine, lol. But, I read how diet drinks arent good with this. Is that true for most? And I get the idea that cheese is not quite so good for this deal either and seem to have experienced that somehwhat. thanks for your input in advance.

I read recently that mountain dew actually has MORE caffiene than coffee. If U dont have a problem with it, then whatever works for U..lol. The problem with things that contain artificial sweetners is that it can cause your weight loss to stall AND trigger sugar cravings. As for cheese there again is more of a personal thing. I had no problem with cheese however in Dr. Atkins newest edition he reccommends to cut back a bit on it.

Some people claim that it is the citric acid found in sodas that is the cause of the problem, which could even make drinking a splenda sweetened drink not acceptable as long as it contains citric acid.

Try cutting that Mountain Dew with some seltzer. I really think the aspartame is something you should avoid, so I'd suggest Diet Riet instead. They make Cola, Raspberry, and White Grape. I still think the Splenda in them is to sweet and I use seltzer with them too.

By the way, Diet Dr. Pepper actually has more caffien than Mountain Dew!
