Default Atkin's products

I received this yesterday from a co worker and was curious if anyone had the scoop on it.

Somehow it doesn't surprise me at all. More hype and marketing? No wonder he said no aspartame?

Things that make you go hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm.

Just a note - you can use aspartame,
there is nothing wrong with it. Atkins diet products are sponsored by Splenda, therefore he wants you to use them . I checked with my doctor and there is nothing in sugar twin, equal, etc., or soft drinks using aspartame that would hinder you from losing weight.

Other than the scientific studies about the side effects of aspartame I guess you could say nothing is wrong with it.

I guess it's like all these different items. If you can use it without hitting a plateau, then great. I'm sure Splenda causes the occasional plateau as well.

I know that my wife, who a type II diabetic, has some trouble with her blood sugar levels on days that she drinks several aspartame sweetened beverages. But who knows maybe those are just stressful days for her anyway...But it has made her more concerned about limiting aspartame intake. Everything in moderation.

Just a note, the Eades of Protein Power also caution against using aspartame. They'd like us to use nothing, but admit the jury is still out on Splenda. Believe it or not, honey is actually what they'd prefer you use.
