Cool New kid on block

Hello people I am now on my 4th week and going well but as I live in Tasmania I am finding it hard to get hold of a lot of products, however I have been making the soy pancakes and so far have had burritos and lasagna which both turning out very well.Does anyone know of a sugar free low carb jam or topping? Then I can have pancakes jam and cream for dessert.

Hi Winitta,

Welcome aboard. NZ is a bit like Tasmania - totally devoid of low carb products!

I did contemplate ordering stuff off the net but freight is really expensive.

In the end I realised that I should go completely natural - and not trick my body into thinking it was getting carb type foods, by eating the substitutes. I'm pleased I did now cos I think it has really helped me eliminate the cravings (it's alo cheaper

If you want to get hold of some LC products the web is a good source, if you can afford it

Lesley

Default Hi Winitta

Welcome to the forum Cottee's makes a diet strawberry Conserve as well as Diet Toppings in chocolate and caramel, I am not sure about the carb count of the toppings but 1tbl of the conserve is equal to 1gram of carb, I count the toppings as the same count as the conserve............hope that is of some help. Marg.
