I snack all the time, the amount depends on the day, but usually at least 2 or 3 snacks a day on top of normal meals. Though since lcing, the snack sizes are smaller because i'm not as hungry. Its definatly working for me weight loss wise!

I probably have at least 1 "snack" a day. You can call it a snack, or a fourth meal. I only have it if I am really hungry, and I eat it at the kitchen table.

I find that only eating in the kitchen has helped me a lot. I used to eat all the time in front of the TV, at the computer, or even in bed. Now that I only eat at the table I am more aware of what goes in my mouth.

Personally I think snacking is probably the way to go, as long as overall calories are not too high.

I actually am trying to get some snacks in so as not to go between meals without anything but sometimes my schedual doesn't allow it. But usually, I have a mid-afternoon snack (1 oz. of almonds or macadmias or a couple of tsps of Lc peanut Butter) and now I've added an evening snack (homemade LC plain yogurt with SF syrup), the last because I felt I needed something to finish off my evening and avoid feeling deprived of something.

I believe snacking is good, though, and I'm trying to do it more regularly.

Tam

I snack if I feel like something. I'm a Uni student and exam time is dangerous to atkins WOE so I keep almonds nearby to get me through (or diet jelly)....I feel good knowing I can have it 'legally'.

I snack. I love to snack. Walnuts, pecans, almonds, cheeses...... It helps keep me from overeating at other meals.

Talking me love snackies!

I don't usually have a mid-morning snack (once and awhile if I eat a really early breakfast I need one), but I ALWAYS have an afternoon snack. Usually a string cheese, some vegi's/dip or a Dannon lc yogurt (or in today's case, a yogurt AND string cheese ). I almost always snack at night too - about 2-3 hrs after dinner... Usually an ounce of nuts or some Fiber One cereal (that stuff rocks and is very low carb since almost all fiber). If I had a really small dinner (meaning I burnt something or something tasted nasty, therefore didn't get eaten) I'll make a ham and cheese lc tortilla wrap. I love snacks!

Snacking is one of the things I love about LC. Being a diabetic, if I didn't snack, my blood sugar would get too low between meals. But, I suspect that even if I wasn't a diabetic, I would still snack. I really enjoy my snacks. And they keep me from eating way more than I need to at meals because I'm not ravenously hungry.

I voted snack twice a day.

Usually it's cheese for the a.m snack and atkins ice cream for my pm snack.

I usually snack once but sometimes twice a day. I keep a bag of beef jerky and pork skins in my desk drawer at work. A can of nuts at home with cucumbers in the fridge.

If I couldn't snack, I'd quit LC. I love my snacks.

The last time I was on Atkins, I ate cheese and pepperoni as my snack ALL the time. Pepperoni is okay, right? I know it has SOME carbs in it, but is that a good snack food?
