Default Splenda to Caramel?

Hey there, was just wondering...

Does splenda melt and caramelize like real sugar does?

I'm talking about the packets of splenda mainly, but if the granular one melts too I guess that's cool too, LoL.

Erythritol is suppose to caramelize. Polydextrose(an alternative bulking agent) caramelizes as well.
