Miss Scruff, I'm hoping you're feeling better.

Angel, you too.

How is everyone doing so far? Have you found some kind of routine yet?
How is your body feeling?

I am just starting so I can't report any actual results yet but I like the concept. I have not been losing at low carb levels for a very long time - except for a few pounds here and there so I have nothing to lose (hah!) by tweaking. I also don't want to set my body to induction level carbs for the long term so I am hoping this cycling is the answer. We'll see.

Finally took measurements and the pilates is helping in that department. Since I started 13 days ago:

chest -.5 in
waist - 1 in
bellybutton - 1 in
hips -.75 in
ea thigh -.5 in

So some inches lost even if no weight. Keep on stretching and breathing everyone.

Congrats on loosing! I am down an inch in the waist and hips since beginnig the pilate challenge!

Thanks a bunch for the get well wishes! I am feeling so much better but am having a hard time eating foods still! Frustrating! I was going to weigh in at my Mom's today, but will have to wait until tomorrow! Surely I lost weight after what I have been through.

Goodness, I almost forgot! I am finally strong enough to get back to working out! Put me down for 20 minutes of pilates and I have a few to make up over the next week and will! Can't let KiwiGal make me look lazy now can I!

o.k...its the Pilates Police here!!!
Its alright missScruff, when we started the 9 week challenge till xmas..i thought [and no one corrected me!] that it WAS 9 weeks..But we're 2 weeks down and according to my calendar, today 2nd nov..means theres now 7 1/2 weeks till xmas...so we've gained some extra days. SO GET YOUR GEAR ON, GRAB YOUR DRINK BOTTLES AND YOGA MAT..AND GET MOVIN'!!

Now I have a question for you babes..seriously..I really would like to lose a few pounds between now and xmas [at this point..i have to state quite firmly that I CANNOT give up my homemade low carb cheesecake! ] BUT give me some ideas as to how to acheive this..I've done the step aerobic classes every day for a few weeks...no change, carb-cycled..no change, egg and meat fast...no change, pilates...no change!!
SOOOOO????
Do you think I should do some cardio or weight AND the pilates each day?
PILOT GIRL???..Didn't you say you used to work in a gym or something.
I've been at this weight for most of the year now and altho' I look o.k, I know i can look better!
P.s Its the saddlebag look at top of thighs that I hate!! For that reason I can't wear short shorts..just mid thigh ones [bear in mind that N.Z summers can get hot!!]
Plus I've been wondering...hope this doesn't sound stupid..If it might be the cheese thats preventing any further loss? [45 pounds dropped off rapidly in the first 3-4 months]...??CHECK OUT MY LATEST PICCY BELOW!!!

Hello ladies. I still have my cracked molar (till Monday) AND the flu so I been in bed,on the couch, in a computer chair.. Not much activity.. today is my sons 5yr Birthday so i will have to be up and about dang nabbit. My only exercise was walking to the park to vote this morning and that about floored me. Dizzy and sweating.. Hope to be on the mend soon. I actually am gaining weight by barely eating and drinking 2 gallons of water a day. I feel like a waterbed, lol. But I don't care cause I know I did'nt gain weight by eating bad stuff so. Happy voting.

Angel

Looking good Kiwigal !! Love your picture !!

I've missed working out the last few days so I need to get more of a routine going.
Today was bun & thigh workout. I'm going to try and get some of the basic workout done this afternoon. I've lost more on my waist than my ab, so my ab looks so big.
My work has slowed right down, so no more excuses.
Christmas is just around the corner. Good luck everyone !!!!!

Question

Well I have been very bad. I haven't had time to do my pilates for the last few days as I am alone with all 4 kids this week DH is deer hunting.

Anyone into joining me in another challenge? At my local gym we have a food bank challenge going on any pounds we lose between now and Christmas we donate that amount of food to our local food bank. I thought it would be great to get other people doing it for their own food banks as well.

Kiwi, LOVED the pic!!! Brightened my day!

Glad you're still alive Angel!
You too, Miss Scruff!

I took yesterday off.
I have come to know that most everyday, I'm going to get down on that floor and stretch my ass off.
And my body has been thanking me.
