Default FAT BURNER AND CHEATING QUESTIONS?

HELLO EVERYONE. CAN ANYONE TELL ME OF A GOOD FAT BURNER THAT IS COMPLIANT TO THE ATKINS DIET? THIS WEEKEND FOR MOTHER DAY I CHEATED I WAS DOING SO GOOD. THE THING IS I BECAME SO SICK. I DIDN'T OVER DO IT JUST A LITTLE SODA AND MACARONI AND CHEESE AND MEATBALLS WITH GRAVY SAUCE. I USUALLY HAVE A PRETTY STRONG STOMACH. HAS THIS HAPPENED TO ANYONE THAT CHEATED BEFOR? IS MY BODY REJECTING THE CARBS? BY THE WAY HOPE EVERYONE HAD A HAPPY MOTHERS DAY.

A fat burner? How about going right back to low-carb immediately?

Yes, you will feel sick, headache-y, nauseous, tired and ache all over when you eat carbs. Feeling lousy is a great motivator.

Could this have been you....?

Feeling tired, sluggish, cranky, bloated all the time but didn't notice it because you ate carbs all day, felt drained by 3:00 p.m., ate more carbs, felt better, munched on carbs while watching TV, fell into bed and wake up groggy the next day. Repeat.

Don't feel gulty. Just get right back to low-carbing. One day of off- plan will not ruin a life-plan.

  1. Atkins, Induction Level, immediately
  2. Exercise - especially aerobic type, that gets yer heart rate up and keeps it up for at least 20 minutes. Also, weight-training and resistance exercises will help build muscles. Muscle is the most metabolically-active tissue in the body, meaning it boosts metabolism and burns fat for energy just by virtue of "being". So, build some muscle, and get puffing ..
  3. Drink buckets of water. This will help to flush out the by-products of the excess carbs, which is contributing to the sick feeling
  4. Don't beat yourself up. Get back on track right away.
Keep us posted, take care ..

Doreen

Default Hidden carb crash?

Has anyone else had this reaction?

On Mother's Day, I went with friends (Ivy and Alex) to my friend's (Alex)mother house. Since Ivy and I are on the Induction diet on Atkins, we brought a salad (Mixed greens, sundried tomatoes, fresh mozzarella cheese, cherry tomatoes, olives, red bell peppers). I had a about two servings of meat (pork shoulder cooked in the oven) and two heaping servings of salad (oh, I should mention, that this was my first meal of the day which was around 4:30pm--I know, bad girl). Afterwards, I felt sooo sleepy. Sleepy like I just ate a supersize Mcdonalds meal. Yesterday, the same thing happened after I had rotisserie chicken (two breasts, BBQ sauce on side for dipping) and a little garden salad. Did I over do my carbs?

Maybe it's an allergic reaction to tomatoes?

Not sure but that is the only thing I see in common between the two days that has carbs in it.
