Wink Low carb SEX!

Trust a man to start this thread..... but hey its a wet wednesday afternoon and we are meant to think about sex every six minutes!

I was dissapointed to find out on Fitday that you burn less calories engaged in moderate sexual activity than doing the ironing so my mind wandered to thinking about food and sex.

What low carb foods are good to get the libido going?

I thought of Oysters as the minerals are supposed to help.
B vitamins in eggs also.

Anybody got any good ideas? legal ones of course.

Nothing like jumping into a fun conversation. But interesting enough, I was just talking to a friend of mine that had a fantastic date last weekend. Although she is not a low carber one of the appetizers ordered was buffalo wings. She told me how fun it was to eat these slowly and sensuously in front of her date, making sure to lick all the buffalo sauce off of them and her fingers. I think this can be called flirting as well, but I am sure it would do the trick. Another low carb "fun food" is strawberries and whipped cream.....

My husband swears it is not every 6 minutes, but 6 sec! Anyways, of coarse whipped cream, but also any type of low carb "sauce/dressing". How about a dessert in the buff! That will turn it from moderate to vigorous!

Have fun

yup the subject caught my attention...LOL ..chocolate has always been an aphrodisiac and we can make our own chocolate with artificial sweetners. Eat a few of them well playing naked scrabble and that should do it...heheheheeh.

rustpot, I hope this doesn't mean you plan on switching from sex to ironing!

I never tried them but they say "rocky mountain oysters" still contain natural male cow hormones and can stimulate the libido of either human sex.

I would think anything low carb would do as you would not be falling asleep before any action could take place as might be the case for those dedicated to lowfat, high carb

Well the research has been interesting, so I thought I would share some of the results with you all.

It was a slow start because I just saw the film Chocolat and that was leading me in completely the opposite direction of low carb.

Chocolate and sex have always been connected I even found a site which gave 20 reasons why chocolate was better than sex!

Best not go there....

So what is the best aphrodisiac meal that you can plan.

Firstly for the men I discovered that the male hormone andosterene is found in celery and attracts women as it is released through perspiration.

Oysters are good but are the highest carb shellfish so there has to be a trade off if you go down that route.

The all round excellent low carb meal plan would be:

Starter Poached eggs with Truffles
Soup Pinenut soup
Main Course Trout Mousse
Dessert Raspberries and Strawberries with cream and Champagne

Next stage of this research program is the practical!

Darn, and I actually LIKE ironing! That's not to say that I don't like the other, ahem....aerobic activity you mentioned!
Well' I'll have to tell hubby that 'moderately' active sex is not good enough. He'll be so pleased.
I AM glad to hear that ironing is so good for you. My kids go to a jesuit boy's school where they have to wear button-down shirts and ties. Hubby wears one every day too. I iron alot. The way this weight holds on though, you'd think that I was eating sugary snacks while doing it, though.

Dang! I wish my wife would become a low carber! She seems to really like ironing, and afterwards is just too tired for any extra-curricular activities. Of course, since I started this diet, I'm awake most of the time and have tons of energy. I can't seem to sleep more than about five hours a night. I've got plenty of time to "experiment" with my new diet, but she's always just too tired. She won't give up the grains, potatoes...and I think she thinks I'm a nut. Well, I am, but now she thinks I'm a Neandernut.

I heard a rumour that Pepsi is considering making a new product that includes Viagra. That way men could literally pour themselves a stiff one.

I just read the other day in our Edmonton paper, that regular sex will prevent heart attacks, new studies have been done and the more the better......so have fun tonight!

Ohhhhh Strawberries & whip cream is my passion, not that redi -whip crap though!

A hot tub, oil massage and then its time to go to bed, because of the hard workout you just finished!

What's an iron?

My vote gets strawberries and whipped cream (and if you're in maintenance ONE glass of wine - I know it's not in a food group!)!! Strawberries are great dipped in wine!

God, please let my mother not read this thread...she's always wondering why I buy so much whipping cream!
