Default Help with Measurments please

Hey everyone-

I need help with this I had measured these two ingredients in grams but I now need them in ounces or better yet in cups.

144 grams of Celery
164 grams of tomatoes

Can anyone tell me how many cups this is ? I know that I had a break down but

Cooked or chopped raw vegetables 1/2 cup (3 ounces/84 grams)

Does this mean that I have 3/4 cup Celery, and almost 1 cup of tomatoes?

thanks!

An ounce is about 30 grams. Don't ask me what a cup is! Just suffice that a cup is a measuremnt of volume not weight. Half a cup is only 3oz if you fill it with water.

They way i try and sort this out is to go into fitday, put in the item using the grams or ounces (weight) make a note of the statistics (calories and carbs) then put the same item in using a cup and see what the relationship is. For example 164 grams of celery is 23 calories 3 net carbs. A cup of diced celery (using a liquid measuring cup) is 19 calories and ~ 2 net carbs (Fitday rounds off) So, I would guesstimate that a little under 1.25 cups would be the same as 144 grams of celery. Tomatoes are 164 and ~ 1 cup liquid measure are almost the same. Hope that helps.
