I voted "no" because I am the eternal optimist. I believe more and more people will slowly see the truth about diet and try lc. We must believe this unless we are willing to let the world slip off into a diabetic coma, right? I mean, most humans will eventually be hyperinsulinemic or diabetic before long otherwise. Therefore, for the sake of humanity we must collectively accept that excess sugar is metabolic poison. Mass acceptance of the dishonest and misleading lipid hypothesis occurred in a short time, so why cannot the truth spread just as quickly?

I voted "no" but I take exception to the poll question itself. For those of us who have experienced a cessation or reduction in symptoms of a real, medical condition, LC has become our way of life.

If the question had stated did I think that media hoopla about LC had peaked ... I would have answered "Gee ... I really hope so!"

For many of us, this isn't just a "means of losing weight" ... but a bone fide "mandatory way of life".

I voted "no" because everyday there are positive studies discussed on the news. I think the more "unbelievers" hear about these, the more likely they are to try this woe.

Ehhh...the "craze" may have peaked, but low-carbing is here to stay. There are too many of us who will never go back.
