Default Motivation in a book

I've been looking for a good motivational book specifically to weight loss but not to a specific diet. I want a comprehensive handbook accompanying the reader down the steps of weight loss.

Any ideas?

Thanks,

Charlaine

I haven't run across a book yet, like the one your looking for. It will be interesting to find out if one is available.
I did read "Passing For Thin" by Francis Kuffel, She explains some of the issues (physical & emotional), that you deal with on your weightloss journey. I found it very realistic, informational & inspirational. She lost her weight thru OA, but the information applies to us all. Just telling you in case you want to check it out.

Charlaine,

I've been reading a few motivational books on weight loss. Some however, because they are old speak on usage of low-fat diet.

I've been reading autobiographies, one in particular is by Sandra Dalka-Prysby, "Slow but Sure". You can buy it off the web for 2 bucks tops. Or borrow it from the library. Another book that I enjoy, is by Richard Simmons. I've read his autobiography, "Still Hungry" and another book called, "Never Give Up". Another autobiography by Camryn Manheim titled, "Wake Up, I'm Fat!"

Their all wonderful reads, if your looking for some books on how to tell or diagnose your eating disorder, just ask and I'll send you some books on that.

I hope I've helped, check them out and let me know.

Great idea on the autobigraphy route! I never thought of that before. I just ordered "Gut Feelings" by Carnie Wilson (she had the gastic bypass surgery). I let you know how it is. I also ordered the "Constructive Living" as advised above by jamaicaker, let you know about that one too.
