Question Fitday.com

Hi everyone. I have been using Fitday for quite awhile now, but have a question. Is there a way to enter a whole recipe and get the counts, without having to input each ingredient and then doing the calculation?? It takes so long to do it that way, and I thought if there was a way to input it all at once, that would be great.
Thanks.

Glenda

Glenda, I was doing that too. Karen saved the day: Get a second account with fitday and enter the information for the recipes there; the day's totals will be the recipe, you can print it out then enter the creation as a 'custom food' in your regular account.

HTH,
Nat

Yes, this really is a time-saver, since you can have the two windows open side by side to copy the figures into your custom foods. My custom foods file is huge.

Hint: if you drink coffee or tea with cream and/or packets of sweetener .. take the time to set it up as a custom food .. 10 oz coffee (or whatever is your mug size), 1 Tbsp heavy cream (or whatever you use) and 1 packet/sachet sweetener. Then, you only need to click once to enter your morning cuppa, instead of entering each thing separately ... and going back to change the amounts, since coffee and tea are defaulted at 1 fl oz.
