Thumbs up Finally found something LC at Panera Bread!

A tad high in sodium and not for induction, but at 10G, not bad for OWL?

I like their chicken caesar salad sans croutons.
Also I have a bottle of their greek dressing at home and it lists as 0g carbs. I count it as one though and its very yummy.

The broccoli cheddar soup has 12 net carbs (but it probably has some thickner)

I was wondering how many carbs the french onion soup has without the crouton.

I've been getting their chicken caesar salad for a long time, it's really good, and low in carbs if you can resist their rolls.

I'm going to check this steak salad out today though!

MyJourney... I got the french onion the other day. I hadn't had soup in 8 mos and was REALLY jonesing for some...

Anyway, with no crouton, I would assume it's between 8-11 carbs for a bowl. Ultimately, french onion is beef broth, butter, herbs, water, and ONIONS. With the obscene number of onions in the soup, that's where most of the carbs come from. Some recipes will throw 2-3 tbsp of flour into a batch. That adds a couple carbs.

If you're looking for a treat, I'd say you're probably okay to get this with no croutons, but have them toss the chipped Asiago all over the top. mmm mmm!

We have a Panera bread opening here on Monday so I'll check out that salad. I was assuming it was somewhere I would have to avoid like the plague!!

I usually get one of their pick 2 lunches. It's one half of a salad (I get the greek) and one half of a sandwich (I have them hold the bread). The most carby thing in the greek salad is probably the kalamata olives, it's mostly leaf lettuce, a couple of thin rings of purple onion, about an oz of finely crumbled feta and a halved slice of tomato. I use only half of the dressing they give me. The sandwiches are just meat, cheese, lettuce, and tomato with some mayo. Very good and cheap at about $5-6

I had the steak salad today and it was really good. I wonder if the dressing has sugar in it? It's definitely sweetish. Interestingly the sandwiches with low carb bread are all lower in calories than the steadk salad, and some are as low as 15 net carbs (the salad only has 6). According to the nutrition sheet. the French Onion Soup has 10 net carbs.

I LOVE their Greek salad! I just adore it. I get their pick 2 lunch w/ the salad and either the forest mushroom soup (it's a little high, but I'm not in Induction anymore) or the French onion, minus the croutons (btw, I hardly get ANY onions, so I can't imagine there being too many carbs from that).

Panera now has LC bread and bagels. Has anyone tried them yet? I see LC-Laur had a bad experience with the breadsticks...

The low carb asiago bagels are to die for, I think they are 11 g carbs/bagel, a little high, but occasionally...
