Default Starbucks

I'm a coffee addict and miss my caramel lattes more than most foods! Are there any low-carb options at Starbucks that anyone knows of. I know caffeine is a no-no, but I won't give it up and it hasn't caused any problems for me. I just drink 1 cup a day. But boy do i miss my latte's...

From the girl who LOVES and LIVES at Starbucks...here's some good choices...............

Drip Coffee

Americano (Iced or Hot)

Breve - made with half/half or even whipped/heavy cream, just ask them.........with a splenda, YUMMY

Stay away from the shake-type drinks, they're loaded with crap. You could make your own with coffee, low-carb milk, some whey protien powder (chocolate) & Splenda, you honestly can't taste the difference once you blend it up with ice!

Check on Starbuck's website - you can customize your drink and get a carb count. I believe a Tall Breve Latte is 18 carbs.

I found this info on the web .. it doesn't tell me specifically about caramel lattes, but you can choose the type of milk/breve for each beverage and the size to see the nutritional info. As SFMom said - they do have SF syrups there as well

Katlo, we couldn't be that lucky! So far I haven't heard of any LC products at Starbucks other than the straight coffee. You can go, have a coffee and enjoy the aromas! ...I drive by occasionally!

They have slowly been getting the SF Davinci Syrups, last I heard they had the hazelnut, but check in with the store near you, they're getting new ones every day!

Check out an Americano with heavy whipping cream (liquid, not whipped). You could also ask them to put in a little sugar-free vanilla syrup.

I love an iced coffee with a shot of sugar-free vanilla and then I top it with a pour of half and half at the counter. It's so good in the heat wave we've got in my city.

You could get some SF Caramel syrup. They sell a brand at Barnie's and use Hood's Low Carb milk. I bet that you wouldn't even know the difference. I know what you mean about the Caramel Lattes though!

I actually make mine at home: I love Iced Vanilla Lattes:

Fill cup with Ice
Add SF Vanilla DiVinci Syrup
Add two shots of expresso
Then add Non-Sweeten VitaSoy Soymilk (1 net Carb per srving)

YUMMMMMMY.
