Default what about sodium?

hey guys.

i'm getting a theory here.

ok, so like sodium is a big culprit in hindering our weight loss, right?

those of you who discovered that and cut it out--what were you eating and drinking?

i think i'm eating waaay too many peanuts; even for owl, and that i'm drinking too many diet sodas, because even those have no fat or calories they still have sodium.

do you think these two things can be the reason for my stall?

how many out there discovered it was their reason to stall and ended up losing weight and cutting it out?

thanks guys!

Default More likely the calories and carbs in the peanuts, actually

At least, that's my experience. Salt can cause water retention, and a lot of diet sodas is not a good thing for a number of reasons.

Every time I've "stalled," I've had to increase my exercise or have a come-to-Jesus moment about portion size before I moved again.

I personally haven't eaten peanuts yet. I have heard they do stall some people and have decided to eat almonds for now. Try it for awhile and see what happens.

I have gained pounds overnight as a result of too much sodium, but I haven't necessarily stalled.

I think it is really hard not to get too much sodium because in my former life, I loved fried greasy salty foods.

What I have done is to eat more natural foods and less condiments. I switched my regular soy sauce to low sodium. I use that on salads. It seems that the condiments pack alot of sodium. I have been trying to kick the pork rind habit, which has really helped.
