Red face problem with clothes

[FONT=System][COLOR=Purple]Okay I have a serious problem with clothes, nothing in the closet fits anymore. I have two pair of leather pants, one a size 5 and one size 7, I put on the size 5's this morning, they are huge. I am wondering does anyone know can you have leather pants altered?

You should be able to get them altered, it's just difficult sometimes because the leather is so thick that it can do a number on a sewing machine if it can't handle thick fabrics.

Yes they can be altered by a professional seamstress/tailor. I had a suede dress years ago that had to be altered. It was no problem. Just make sure that the person who is doing it has experience in altering leather. Leather stretches and moves differently from regular fabrics, and if they aren't experienced in working with it it can be easy to mess up.

P.S. I know how you feel, when I was at my largest I had this incredible pair of leather pants I had found on clearance. They were such a good deal and my favorite pants.. but they were a size 20 and just not worth the time or expense of altering! I plan on buying a new pair when I get to goal

I am a coutrier here in Luxmebourg.
Yes, they can be altered DOWN but can never be let out again, as leather is a skin that will be peirced with the needle and the marks will always show.
Be sure you want them smaller forever!

Yes I want them altered forever, I plan to stay with this WOL for the rest of my wonderful time here, so I want to wear these pants. Thanks for the sympathy just kidding. I will go in tomorrow and talk to a seamstress and see if she can alter them.
