Talking Kicking it into gear!

Hello All,

I ate horribly over the past few days, but I am hitting induction with a vengeance today! I held onto a lot of water from my cheating and am at 282lbs. and 50% body fat this morning.

I somehow ended up putting my atkins books in storage when we moved overseas, but I found a copy of the "New Diet Revolution" at the base mini mart yesterday. Now I have the food lists and the rules. It is hard to believe how far off the rules I was without the book. No wonder I haven't had much success over the past 3 months even though I though I was being really faithful to the plan.

Woke up and hardboiled some eggs, bought sardines yesterday for work and am walking around work with my camelback full of 2 quarts of water at a time. This way I won't get too busy to drink all the water I should. I am an elementary school Nurse Practitioner so I can wear my water without my boss caring at all.

Feeling great, motivated and determined to make my life what I want it to be!

Default good for you!

lynnp-

I know what it's like to eat horribly. When i first started this woe of was winging it.. trying to remember what was in the book (a bit like you).. boy was I off.. I was eating things I shouldn't be touching with a ten foot pole for at least another 2 months. It was easier than I thought to get on track, and then the weight started coming off. That was 9 months ago.. I've fallen off since then, and now I'm back, and more determined than ever.

Keep up the great job, and have fun with that water... heehee....
