Question Thickening Agent

Can anyone tell me what is the best low carb thickening agent for savory dishes please?

I have ordered ThickenThin/Not Starch on-line as it is listed in many of the recipes in one of my LC cookbooks. Haven't gotten it yet, but I'll let you know what I think when it comes in!

Hey, Nuttymum!

I made gravy with the ThickenThin/Not Starch tonight and it turned out great! It doesn't really thicken up until it cools down. My family wouldn't have known it was low carb if I hadn't told them! It almost felt like cheating!!

there are many east Indian dishes that use ground almonds / nuts for thickening. It will add a bit of a sweetening to your dish.
