Default Bye Bye, Cravings!

I'm just about to start my fifth week on Atkins, and one thing that I'm positively pleased about is the lack of cravings anymore.

Though I ate reasonably healthy before (not to be confused with low-carb though), I did have a wicked addiction to popcorn and I loved to have a glass of red wine each night. Now, I almost never think about popcorn (mind you, I refuse to go to the movies!), and when I had a glass of wine last night, I didn't finish it.....just didn't satisy my palate like it used to.

Yay!

That is really the greatest part of this way of eating in my opinion. I was always hungry for junk, thinking of eating constantly. It truly is a blessing to feel like the "appetite beast" is under control. To the carb addicted, Dr. A was a godsend, too bad the company is not the same anymore!

Yay! Cravings are little devils who need to be stopped, and low-carbing is a sure-fire weapon! Congrats on your five week anniversary!

Well...I would still kill for one of those big Hershey bars, but my little ol' Endulge bar seems to do the trick when the craving strikes. I don't think I'll ever stop wanting chocolate!

I can't wait for those cravings to leave!!
They are so distracting and obnoxious! Its nice to hear that they really do go away at some point.

Hehe My chocolate addiction will never go away!! LOL

but I don't tend to snack on other foods like i use to...I was like eating all day, now a meal satisfies me!! its great, its also a great way to see if a food is upsetting you because you get those cravings back!!

Ohhh another ex-popcorn fanatic!! I havent been to the movies since I started this WOL either. I cannot face the temptation! I used to adore buttered popcorn, it was almost a staple to me. Used to eat it by the huge bowl fulls!

Actually popcorn is suitable for LCers, but it has 3 to 4g per cup. I don't know if I can eat just a cup. I used to eat bags of it.
