Default Good News if You Like Cinnamon

"For Type Two diabetics, fighting high cholesterol and high blood pressure can be as easy as a small daily dose of a favorite spice. Research from India suggests that adding a quarter of a teaspoon of cinnamon to a diabetic's daily diet lowered blood sugar and cholesterol tremendously."

Quoted from The Indianapolis Star.

From the Indy star huh? Sounds like good info.

There was a previous discussion about this research with cinnamon and diabetes/blood sugar control in our Research forum. You might be interested to have a read ... Cinnamon?

Just remember, cinnamon is 25.5g carb per 100g, but 100g is quite a lot.... it's around 4oz.

True. One teaspoon is 1.84 grams of carbs per Fitday, but 1.25 grams of fiber. Not too bad!

I don't understand how you can eat it without having it on a bun or something. Any suggestions on what to eat it with?

Put it on a mock danish, put it in any sort of cake type thing you're making, sprinkle a little on top of a cocoa drink.
