It's time to introduce myself
I've been visiting for a while now. I've made a few posts. Most people have been very nice and I've learned something everyday. I guess I'll be sticking around and so I've decided to introduce myself finally. And I guess that this is another step in making a commitment to the low carb WOL. I did try this about 4.5 years and lost 35 lbs. I know it works and I should have stuck with it but I didn't (long story). I've always been the type to have to learn the hard way!
Anyway, I live in Illinois. I work full time. I am divorced and have one son. I've always been a big person except for a short period of time and it was a real struggle to maintain that. I think this will be easier. I just need to get my head straight and make a long term commitment.
I have found so much inspiration here. I check in at least once a day and more than that on most days! It gives me a good mental boost. Now I'm off to do more visiting and maybe start a journal.........  |
