If you live in Mississauga or Oakville, get thee to the MGM Bakery at 734 Lakeshore Blvd (just east of Cawthra). They bake the best low carb bread I've found in Toronto at $4.69 a loaf. (The stuff in St. John's, NFLD at Not Just Desserts on Duckworth is a tad better & only $3.99).

They also make a very dense Organic Oat Bran bread at $4.69 which is fabulous. It used to have honey in it but I noticed that the latest loaves don't have that now. It is both a "colon scourer" and a fix for diarrhea if, like me, you have that.

Well worth the expense. I haven't noticed any cravings from either one.

They bake these on Mondays and Thurdays so tur up on those days.

I WISH I had stock in this bakery but I am just a customer.

Any idea as to the carb count? I live in Mississauga and may try it out
