Default Omigosh! Yummmmmmm

OMIGOSH! I had the most awesomest lunch today! Know what? It was from the cafeteria at work. I had 2 hamburger patties w/ pepper jack cheese, guacamole, 2 tomato slices & 2 pickle spears. I think the pepper jack just made the meal. It was yummy. I think I found my new lunch!!!
YUMMMMMMMMMMMM Just thought I'd share since I can never decide what to get in the cafe.

Our cafeteria has an awesome salad bar, I get that every day and never get tired of all the stuff I can put on it! It's been my savior!

I've been doing something similar lately, I have two hamburger patties with cheddar on a bed of lettuce and tomatoes with mayonnaise. I really enjoy it and certainly don't miss the bun.

It's so weird. When I began this woe eating a sandwich without a bun seemed awful. NOW just the thought of a hot burger on a burger bun sounds so yucky. I picture it soggy bread, ewwwww.

I used to get salads from the salad bar but they are soooooooo expensive (mine usually end up costing over $7 cuz I like all the veggies they can't seem to cut up in small pieces) so I only get a salad when I'm really craving one or there is nothing to eat. When they have the salad specials, where they make a certain type of salad made to order I get those. Tomorrow is Cobb salad day. I can't wait. Sometimes they have fajitas, & those are pretty good (w/o the tortilla), w/ tons of guacamole. YUMMMM. I think i better stop thinking about food, cuz I'll want to eat again & I'm still full from lunch. hee-hee

My favorite is bunless cheeseburgers with mustard, a little onion and some coleslaw made with cabbage, mayo and a bit of splenda.

Yes! I've been really getting into something similar-- double cheeseburger with melted gouda and a litle grilled onion on top accompanied by sliced avacado and sliced tomato-- yummmm! I'll never tire of that!
