Hi everyone ~

My hubby picked up these CarbBalance hame/cheese pockets made by Michael Angelo's tonight. They have 9 carbs a piece (1 of those being fiber) and are of a nice size. I try to stay around 15-20 carbs a day so it is not very realistic to eat these regularly, but they are unbelievable tasting!!! Anyone try these and have good or bad results with weight going up/stalling/etc.? Just curious, because it makes me nervous, they taste so yummy Thanks in advance!

I agree!!! These are fantastic. I buy the monster box of them at Sam's and keep them on hand for quick cooking emergencies.

BlitzAng, I tried to find you a link to the ingredients list, but couldn't so let me rattle off some info. from the box:

Actual Ingredients List (summarized in the order they appear-I didn't type sub ingredients): Water, ham, wheat gluten flour, swiss cheese, mozzarella cheese, vital wheat gluten flour, soy flour, parmesan cheese, monterey jack cheese sauce, buttermilk, partially hydrogentaed soybean oil, maltodextrin, cheddar cheese solids, sodium caseinate, silicon dioxide, mono and diglycerides, baking powder, dijon mustard, salt, yeast, light corn syrup, and egg white.

Hope that helps! They were $5.87 for a package of 8 at Sam's Club here in TX, so pretty reasonably proced too. Like I said, we will use them only as an occasional treat, but a good find I thought =)
