Question Mint Sauce Does Anyone Know the Carb Count?

Hi All,

I live in Canada now but I still eat the foods I loved in the UK from my childhood. Tonight I picked up some lamb (rare for me as it's usally priced out sight compared to beef and chicken). Anyway does any one know the carb count for Mint Sauce? I picked some up made for the Canadian market but made in the UK. I was hoping one of you might have the nutritional info on your bottle as it's missing from the one I picked up. Thanks ever so much,

Stephanie

Hi Stephanie

After shopping for some mint sauce a couple of weeks ago, I learnt that the carb count varies a huge amount between brands. It took me ages to find one I was happy to buy. Which brand are you using?

Cheers
Maxa

It has sugar in it so I'd just use a little and cross my fingers if I were you. It's much better if you can get fresh mint and make your own.

I'd love to make my own but in Winnipeg we have yet to see spring . We spend 6 months under snow and nothing is really growing yet (not even the grass). I used a teaspoon last night and watered it with vinegar and did as you suggested and crossed my fingers. Sugar was pretty low on the list of ingredients and I figured a small amount won't kill me.
