My red stretch marks have decreased to nearly nothing in the past couple of months on their own. I still have a ton of white/silver stretch marks... but hopefully those will go away as well. They appear to be healing a little.

From my dermatologist office, Maderma is best for "minimizing" scars and stretch marks, It will just fade the color. There is Nothing to take them away. As for the veins someone mentioned, there is good news, you can get them simply, with no pain, zapped with a lazor. My dream, after I lose all of my weight, I plan to write a really sappy letter to Extreme Make Overs and get them to do a tummy tuck, well let's face it, A BODY TUCK and I hope to get as many of those nasty little suckers tucked, cut, sucked, whatever the heck they can do, to make them go away. Well, I can dream, can't I?

This is perhaps a stupid question :
Those vitamin e capsuls, are those special ones or just the ones you take orally ?

Default Strivectin?

Has anyone tried Strivectin? They claim it stimulates collagen and can actually thicken the skin around the stretch marks, making them less noticable. Lasers also stimulate overproduction of collagen so they might be able to do the same thing: thicken the skin.

exfoliate (scrubs, or a body brush..use dry not wet), vitamin e, cocoa butter (palmers makes great cream and oil). drinking water and taking oils as supplements. time also fades them.
