Default Low Carb Cheese Cake...

Does anyone have a recommendation for getting a good low carb cheesecake in Canada...

When I was in NY over the holidays I could find them in every grocery store. So far I cannot find on here in Canada...

Caroles Cheesecake makes one. I emailed her and this was the reply:

For an 85g (3oz) slice there are 3g of effective carbs, 250 calories, 6g protein, 20g fat, 1g dietary fibre, 80mg cholesterol. The cakes are all natural and come in the following flavours: Cappuccino, Chocolate, Lemon, Marble, Strawberry Swirl, Raspberry Swirl, Vanilla.

I haven't bought any yet.

Regards

Steph

I looked them up on www.canada411.com and they're out of Ontario. Listed under wholesale, too. Might want to call them and ask if they sell any to stores where you are.

You can find the low carb cheesecakes--blueberry,lime,chocolate swirl, and new york style at the low carb store at 11 & arbutus. number 736 3003. I shop there. Hope that helps you. As you can tell I tried them all and very good. Taste like regular cheesecake.

Default Starbuck's has low carb mini cheesecakes

They are really good. Can't remember the carb count, but very low, and delicious. Also a nice small portion so you don't feel piggy ordering it. I recommend the lemon. They have chocolate too, but I am allergic so I didn't try it.

The best cheesecake is usually the one's you make yourself. Karen's cheesecake recipe on this site is the best EVER. If you really want to buy one. Low carb Centre in North Van makes one and so does DD's bakery in Calgary.
