Typical weight loss is a tough topic.
If you have 200lbs to lose and have been living a REAL bad lifestyle, you might lose up to 25lbs on induction. If you have 35lbs to lose and have been living a healthy lifestyle, you might lose 4lbs. Also, it depends on your level of activity. If you exercise 90min/day on induction, you will lose a lot more than if you don't exercise at all.
As for your eating schedule, that's not ok. You should have between 3 and 6 meals everyday to keep your metabolism up. If you skip lunch, your metabolism will slow down to a crawl until you eat again. The point is to keep your metabolism up all day long so even if you're not exercising, your body is still using calories.
My experience: I had ~80lbs to lose and had been living a poor lifestyle. I went on induction and did 30min of working out everyday. I lost 19lbs in 2 weeks.
