Default Slimfast Shakes - 2 carbs - OK???

Hi all, I just saw this discussed elsewhere on these forums - I have no idea whether this is a US only promotion as yet. The Slimfast site doesn't (or does it?) give the full ingredients so there might be bad stuff lurking in there. Anyway I actually adore these shakes, they were always a great standby in my calorie counting days, or for nourishment on the go, and I was wondering if anyone has the lowdown on them. They're a damn sight cheaper than the Atkins ones too.

In case anyone is interested, I emailed Slimfast UK to see if the low carb shakes would be available anytime soon in the UK. Here's their reply:

Dear Consumer

Thank you for contacting SlimFast. Unfortunately, our recently launched low carb. products are only available in the U.S and I am not aware of any plans to launch these products in the U.K.

I am sorry I cannot help further but would like to wish you every success on your weight loss programme.

Kind regards

Perhaps if enough people ask for them, they might change their minds - you can email them at: slimfast~UnileverConsumerLink.co.uk
