Talking 10 Pounds Gone

Into my 6th day and I am 10 POUNDS DOWN. I weighed myself 8 times to make sure it was right. Still had doubts. Then my husband got on it, and it was the same weight he was a week ago, he always weighs 180.. so I got back on and it was STILL 10 pounds less then when I started this diet. I was STILL freaking out thinking it was wrong. Made my kids get on the scale (which we weighed them last week for fun to) and their weight was right, got back on STILL 10 pounds down! I think I am convinced now.

I AM PROUD of myself! I have been eating good... my ketones are at moderate, I had something new today salad with little tiny bit of ranch dressing (which is 2g Carb) with Chicken in it. It was soo good. I can't believe how much my appatite has gone down.

One question though, I am still getting a yucky taste in my mouth, does this ever go away?

See? We toldya it worked

Bad taste is a good thing - a sign of ketosis - sugar free mints help. Yes it passes - or you get used to it - not sure.

Congratulations!!!!! You're off to an excellent start!

Weird how sometimes we don't trust the scales....(after all they have been lying to us for years!!!)

Keep up the good work.

Default Way to go!!

Hey Karen!
Wow! 10 pounds is so great. You must feel wonderful! I have lost 8 in the past 2 weeks. I am already fitting into the clothes that I wanted to wear, but I am not stopping! I'd like to lose a few more and then modify what I am eating, but I am not going back to all those carbs! I feel better than I have in a long time. No bloating or upset stomachs since I started and the sweet tooth has all but dissappeared. Glad to hear you are doing so well. It's nice to get that quick loss to motivate you to keep on going, huh? Have a great weekend!
Hugs,
Carrie

Don't worry that horrible yucky taste eventually goes, just keep drinking your water and keep up the good work.

Great job Karen!!!!

10 pounds lost is a great start! Keep up the good work!

I don't notice anything about my breath very often but once in a while, like if I'm going to meet someone new or something, I pop a Smint.

Excellent work!
