Question is this normal?

I have been on the atkins induction for 2 days now but have found that my legs are now showing bruises. These are not sore but can be seen all up my legs. i was just concerned this was a bad reaction to atkins.

can anyone offer any help or advice please

I think it would be best if you just went and saw your doctor. Unless you have been extremely active lately and maybe gotten the bruises that way, you need to see your doc. Regardless if it is the diet or not, it is not normal. There could be something lacking in your diet, iron... which I find hard to believe because your iron intake should be much higher on this diet.

Default Vitamin C?

If you ate a lot of veggies and fruits and now are not, you could be missing a lot of vitamin C. Are you taking vitamins at all, and especially C? You might need way more than you get in a basic multi, despite what the RDA says.

I start bruising whenever I drop below about 10 GRAMS of vitamin C.

I've seen this question asked on a few low carb boards, and someone always answers that you might see bruises in an area that's about to lose some fat.
I hope that's it for you!
I can't attest to this though. I have always bruised very easily, on or off the diet.
