Default Splenda = carbs?

How many carbs do you count for 2 teaspoons of Splenda? What about the Splenda in Diet Rite?

2 teaspoons of the granular splenda or 1 packet of splenda counts as 1 carb.

The splenda in diet rite doesnt count at all since its the maltodextrin or dextrose filler in the splenda that adds the carbs, not the splenda itself.

Diet rite and other soft drinks sweetened with splenda use the liquid form of splenda so there are no fillers and no carbs.

That's why we wish that the liquid form of Splenda was available in North America. In Australia, New Zealand and Fiji, you can get the tablet form of Splenda which has even fewer carbs than the envelopes. I think it's 0.2 per tablet. They are easy to crush and use in recipes.
