Question Induction or OWL?

Ok I have done the 2 week induction. I lost 4 lbs in the first week and none in the second. I have had a sore throat for about a week now which hasn't helped but I did stick to the induction rules although my water intake was not good and appetite was poor due to not feeling well. I think this may have been why I did not lose any in second week. So my question is should i go onto OWL or stay on induction for another week? I'm afraid that not eating much the last week may have affected the hard work i put in the first week if that makes sense. Or did i not lose much as I only have about 10 lbs to lose? Would being sick and not eating much affect my progress? I'm not really sure what to do and wanted some advice on what other people would do.

Thanks,
Tammy

Well from what it looks like you don't have too much to lose so i would do induction another week or 2 and see what happens. Hope you're feeling better!
(Get that WATER in!!!!)

I think you should slowly move onto OWL. You need to establish your CCLL (critical carb level for losing) well before you hit goal.

If you have 10lbs to lose until goal it is time to move to OWL

I have found that after 2.5 weeks I am not losing anything in Induction. I think it is due to the high # of cals I have been consuming trying to follow the induction plan. I decided yesterday that I am going to start OWL, that way it may be easier to keep my calorie count lower. A lot of the cereals etc that you can eat during induction have a much lower cal count. This way you can also have snacks that are not loaded with calories too. Instead of cheese you can have half of a low carb muffin etc. Good luck!

Move on to OWL. Because you have only 10 lbs to go, you want to make sure that you don't take them off to quikly if you want to maintain your goal weight.
