Default Gained .5 lbs!

How is that possible? I haven't cheated, stuck to the same foods as usual and gained! Still in ketosis...what's that all about?

Just the fluctuation of your weight, hydration level, etc.

Don't worry about .5lbs

Thursday I was 260.5, Friday I was 261.4, Saturday I was 258.6, today I'm 259.4.

Your day-to-day loss isn't important, only the trend over time is.

It's not unusual to retain a little water overnight and be up a pound or two in the morning (in fact women can expect to gain water weight around TOM and sometimes at other times in the cycle too). .5 pounds is such a small fluctuation, it doesn't have to mean you are doing anything wrong. Just stick with it!

You have had a 20 pound loss since February and you're worried about .5 pounds? YOU'RE DOING GREAT!!!! Don't get discouraged, you really are doing fantastic! Best of luck to you, don't let the scale become your enemy.

Have a super day

Well for one thing do you use a scale that measures in 0.5 incraments? If so that means you could actually have only gained .00001 or such and the scale just went from rounding down to rounding up.

If .5 pound gain is going to upset you, then avoid all salt, having a period, or anything else that may result in a small weight gain or you're in for a hard road. Click on the gallery link under my name and check out my progress chart. You'll see there are ups, downs and plateaus. This is normall in every weight loss program and you won't experience a constant steady weight loss.

I weigh daily and my weight will fluctuate as much as 5 lbs <nevermind .5 lbs> in a week's time. As long as I'm still having an overall downward decline, or even a maintenance (sp?) every week, I don't give it a second thought. After all, you use the scale as a tool, don't let it use you!

Default Thank you...

For the support I weigh in weekly and it`s the 1st time I've seen a gain. It is the end of my TOM so I guess I should have expected that. Not giving up, just concerned

Have a great night!
Tracy
