I have been on the Atkins diet for a Month now I have felt great, but for a week now I have felt so lazy and tired! Has anyone else done this? Is there a reason for this?

it could be so many things. you could be pms, not eating enough, vitamin deficient, too many carbs, ate some hidden carbs, adjusting to new way of eating, dehydrated.
so many choices!!!
good luck.
how long have you been feeling this way?

Although it may be the last thing you feel like doing right now, exercise always boosts my energy levels when I'm feeling tired and lazy, even a short brisk walk will do you a world of good!

Just a thought, I have been feeling tired lately, but I figured it was due to the change in the time and the season. This is the time to hibernate, and having it getting dark earlier surely doesnt help... sometimes it is the obvious that we miss

I'm with Holly - I think it's the light.

You can't eat like a caveman and not expect daylight savings to have some kind of effect on something in our brains that still wishes we walked on our knuckles.

But it's always a good idea to drink more water and take an extra walk.

I was feeling that way for a few days, and when I mentioned it to my daughter, she told me that she and her husband had the same experience -- turned out to be a virus that was going around. Sure enough, after a few days I got the cold symptoms, and now I feel much better. Could be a bug of some sort?
