Not getting enough fiber?
Hey there,
I've been following the Induction plan as close as I can, and try not to go over 20 grams of carbs, and not over 1200 calories, yet my fiber is below 8 on most days. I eat alot of veggies but I've been constipating, so I had to start drinking a easy laxative tea by Traditional Medicine every night. It helped some. I exercise 4-5 days/wk, doing circuit training(40 min, 3days/wk), stationary bicycle(30 min, 4-5days/wk), and more weight lifting(90 min, 4days/wk). I drink 100-140 oz water. My weight is coming off very slow, 1 lb/wk. I can't seem to get enough fiber from vegetables unless I start eating bread, cereal, rice, etc. to get 20-35 grams of fiber. That kind of fiber did make me stall for 5 months, I don't want to go back to that. I am losing 2-8 inches a month and 2-5 bodyfat lbs. Is anyone else having the same problem? Any suggestions, please.
Thanks,
Cindy Q
