Hi all. I discovered this site a few weeks ago and am so glad I did. I have returned to it time and time again for advice, updates and tips. The letters and questions that everyone has posted has encouraged me and helped me with many questions. So I thought I would finally get in there and say hi.

I started on Atkins at the beginning of March. At the end of my induction, I was put on antibiotics for a bladder infection. I knew enough to expect a stall, but does anyone know how long they usually last?! I am STILL stuck! I lost 14 pounds the first two weeks and I am tremendously happy! I feel better, sleep better and my body is just craving to get out there and exercise! I haven't felt like this since I was a teen! My current favorite sport is playing on the kid's trampoline! (shhh... don't tell them!) But I know that if I could get that scale to budge, I would feel even better!

Any input would be appreciated. Thanks to all and have a wonderful low-carb day!!!

Smile Don't Panic

Don't panic weeks 3 and 4 seem like they stall a lot of people out! Be patient 14 off already - celebrate that !!!!

Measure yourself if you haven't already because if you're exercising then you may be turning fat to muscle and muscle weighs more! It also looks a whole lot better!

Most of us that communicate back and forth on here write in each others journals. If your interested in sticking around this great site then start a journal! If you're looking for some support anytime or have a question just pop over to my journal and leave me a note. I'll try to help you if I can!

Good Luck!

I had to look back and find you since you haven't started a journal yet. I don't follow atkins so I really don't know the answer to your question you posted in my journal. There is an atkins forum on this site you might try posting to or even post that question in the newbie's questions!

Sorry - I'm just not much help on Atkins questions and don't want to lead you in the wrong direction.

If you start a journal it will be easier for people to find you to reply again! Don't be afraid to ask an other question any time and I'm sorry I don't know the answer to this one! I would gladly help you if I could!

Gotta Go!

Good luck with the answer to when to leave induction!

I totally agree with what Diana posted above, what you are dealing with is something many experience.

Welcome to the forums and best of luck to you!
