Thumbs up I am amazed that I don't graze!!!

I am puzzled by the fact that I ate breakfast at 8:30 this morning and it's
11:30 and I'm not in the snack drawer filled with high carb foods right
behind me in my coworkers drawer!! My appetite is under control. I'm usually
hungry every couple of hours. Not on this WOE. Anyone else with this
experience?

Funny you posted this... today was the first day I did NOT think of lunch until my coworker asked if I wanted to walk to the cafe. Usually I am starving by 10am counting the minutes until lunch time.

This WOE really satisfies my hunger.

I find that I am much more satisfied on this WOE...You can't believe how much I use to snack, even if I wasn't that hungry...Not anymore...The protein and the fats really fill you up more, and for a longer period of time..Its great!!!

I would have to totally agree with you. I'm not hungry for snacky food anymore. I eat my breakfast at 6:00am and by 11:30 my belly is saying feed me. The thing is, that for the first time in my life, I'm eating because I'm truly hungry, not because I'm craving something or because I'm bored, or depressed, or sad or any of the other reasons I used to shove food into my mouth. I'm "eating to live" NOT "living to eat" and it feels so darn good to not be allowing food to control my life anymore.

I have noticed this eating this way as well. I have read from othe posters that eating carbs actually makes you crave carbs more.

I find this as well....Around 12, I am hungry though and if I don't get lunch right away I will graze on things. Also, I have found that I habitually eat. Like today at lunch time I had a chicken leg and boccoli, then I had a glass of Hood Dairy Beverage and then some nuts....

Talk about pigging out....

I know exactly what you mean. I always used to eat every hour. Now I'm not even thinking of it. It's so good to not have food directing my life. But, and I know this sounds totally ridiculous. I miss being able to eat so much! I really do like eating, and it turned out that eating was my major "hobby". So I have had to find other things to do. But sometimes I really do wish I could eat more - but I'm just too stuffed all the time! In fact anytime I don't totally stuff myself I lose weight. So, I know logically it is worth giving up my favorite activity, eating, but it's hard to fill in snacking time with other little diversions to give my eyes or brain a break for a few minutes.
