Smile Hello I'm very new!

Hello
I'm new here and having looked through the site think it is very interesting and informative.
I live in the UK, in Kent, I am a antique dealer which keeps me busy, I also do some interior design. I came to hear of this site via my daughter who is on the Atkins diet, my partner is also on Atkins, loves the fried breakfasts and has lost one and a half stone, says he has never felt healthier. I have always had a weight problem, I look at a cream cake it jumps on my hips! I have lost a little weight so far and am happy to loose more. I know this site will prove inspirational and you all seem such a nice bunch it will be easy to ask any questions.

Welcome Mack,

I think it would be a good idea for you (anyone for that matter) to go to the re-induction thread....we re-started yesterday, but a lot of folks are weighing in and starting today...

It's motivating knowing we are all doing the induction phase of our low carb diets.

Good Luck!

Welcome Mack!

Congratulations on the weight loss so far You'll enjoy it here. Maybe you should consider starting a journal here. You can post your days eats, workouts, venting, what ever. It's a great way to get input from others on your eating and it keeps you pretty honest. Best of Luck.
Love,
Carla

The best advice I can give any newbie is to check out the recipe section on the boards. You want to add in new foods to replace you usual meals. This also helps you keep the program interesting!

Hiya and congrats so far! Check out the recipe section of this forum if you start to get bored. There are some pretty creative recipes that you'd never think to make.

Also, maybe you should start a journal. Use it to track your success, post your daily menus, or as I do, simply rant to whoever will listen

Congrats and welcome!
