Default Need to loose wait fast.

I am in the Naval Reserver and am scheduled to leave for bootcamp on 4/5, and currently overweight by about 10lbs, and bodyfat by 2%. Today is 3/22, think I can make it? I get re-checked 4/1 so I only have about 11 days.

Shouldn't be a problem! Just stick to induction firmly and do your excersize

I agree, do a strict induction. However, as an emergency measure, when you get to about 5 days and you still have't lost enough, you could try a few days on Stillman's. It's very severe but causes rapid weight loss. Don't stay on Stillman's for longer than 5 days as your body might start going into starvation mode. Go back to Atkins after.

Low-carb should be good for at least 3-5 lbs. of water weight in the first week or so. Since you're only 10 lbs. overweight to start, I wouldn't expect too much more than that just on LC alone. So you're probably going to have to do some old-fashioned calorie restriction and serious exercise, too.

Based on the photos I've seen of some reservists lately, I'd say 10 lbs isn''t a make or break deal; but I think those guys were all Army. How strict is USNR?
