Talking New kid on the block

Hello,

I just want to introduce myself. My name is Angela from Long Island New York. I am currently a low carb dieter and been so since February 2004. I am a Curves Member (30 minute workout for women 3 times a week). I struggle daily to find better meal choices. I have slipped up a couple of times but everyday i try again. I have lost a total of 10 pounds Since February. I strive to be back to where i was. Since last summer i had gained 50 pounds due to unforeseen stressors in my life to which i thought i would be a carb/sugar addict forever. Now i see by cutting back i can curb my cravings. Thank you Lord!

Hi Angela. Welcome!

Check out our Kitchen forums for lots of good meal ideas, and don't be afraid to try new things. You'd be amazed what you can do with vegetables.

You sound determined to take good care of yourself, and that's the most important part. Best of luck!!

Hiya, and hey from another newbie. I found measuring myself in the first week was the best thing I had ever done - I lost 8 inches in the first two weeks! Be sure to not fret about the weight loss too much as it will come off but you just need to know that the diet is doing you good no matter how much weight you lose
Good luck!!

Hi, and welcome to the Forum!

Read, read, read!! You'll probably find that many things you've been wondering about have already been asked. And if not - ask away.

Good luck!

Rocky
